Training for Recovery Home Operators
Learning Lives in the Community
Explore practical, real-world training for recovery homes across New Hampshire.
In New Hampshire, recovery homes play a frontline role as substance misuse continues to spread throughout our communities. Knowing how to support your community and your homes can make a real difference in people’s lives.
Our trainings are practical, local, and designed by people who’ve helped shape New Hampshire’s recovery system. Participants will learn from others’ experiences and get real tools and support from peers, providers, and partners committed to this work.
These trainings will focus on skills you can apply in real-world situations. Just as important, we listen. If something is unclear, missing, or creating barriers, we want to hear about it. Together, we can strengthen the recovery system and make it work better for everyone involved in recovery support.
We also share trainings from trusted partners when feasible. We’re building a list of local and national low- and no-cost training opportunities that may be useful to recovery home operators. Whether it’s a workshop hosted down the road or a free webinar from a national organization, we want to make it easier for you to access knowledge that supports your work.
When we learn together, we grow stronger as a community. That strength helps turn recovery homes into spaces where healing takes root and hope has room to grow.
Fire and Safety Training
About this training:
In partnership with New Hampshire State Fire Marshal, NHPRR hosted this training to educate certified recovery residences on fire safety standards and the exemption waiver process.
Participants learned about state fire code exemptions under RSA 153:10-d, common violations, and how to navigate the variance application, inspections, and compliance planning.
Designed for recovery home owners, operators, and community partners, the webinar reinforced NHPRR’s commitment to maintaining safe, ethical, and legally compliant recovery housing throughout the state.
