Why Certification Matters
As the only agency designated by the State of New Hampshire to certify recovery residences, NHPRR is committed to supporting operators and ensuring residents have access to safe, supportive housing that promotes long-term recovery. Certification also helps ensure residents have access to safe, supportive housing that promotes long-term recovery.
Certified homes are eligible for:
- State scholarships
- Financial assistance
- Technical support
- Recovery housing advocacy
Additionally, state agencies and vendors that receive state or federal funding (like the Doorway system) can only refer clients to homes on the New Hampshire Voluntary Recovery House Registry.
NHPRR walks alongside each recovery home operator throughout the certification journey, offering guidance on strengthening business practices, deepening recovery supports, enhancing property safety, training and development, and building strong connections with the local community.

Certemy FAQs
What is Certemy and why do I need an account?
Certemy is the online platform used to manage the certification process for recovery residences in New Hampshire. It helps you track steps, upload documents, and communicate with reviewers. All applicants must create an account to begin.
How do I get started?
Log in for the first time or return to your Certemy dashboard. If you received an invitation email, click the link in the message to register. If you didn't receive an email, check your spam folder—or reach out to us for support.
What if I forgot my password?
Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset your password via email. Make sure to check your spam folder before reaching out to NHPRR staff or the Certemy Help Desk.
What do the circles next to each step mean?
-
White Circle: Not started
-
Green Circle: Completed and waiting for review
-
Green Circle with Check: Approved
-
Red Circle: Rejected, but remember to read the notes to fix and resubmit. Reach out to NHPRR staff for help.
How do I upload required documents?
Click on the step, follow the prompts, and use the "Upload" button to add your file. Make sure your file meets the size and format guidelines (PDF preferred).
I don’t see a “Submit” or “Continue” button.
Scroll through the page carefully. Some steps require confirming a checkbox or signature before the button appears. If you're stuck, try refreshing the page, using a diffirent browser or device, or logging out and back in.
Can I use my phone or tablet?
Yes, but we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer when possible for easier navigation and document upload. If you are sharing a device, try to log out after every session.
Where do I find my certificate once I’m approved?
You’ll get an email when your application is approved. (Remember to always check your spam folder if you don't receive an email and consider adding the Certemy email address to your address book.) Then, log in and visit your Digital Wallet to download and print your certificate.
If you would like a certificate to display on social media or a badge to add to your website, reach out to Tanya Wessells, CRSW, NHPRR Certification Manager, at 603.369.3679 or tanya@growthpartners.llc.
How long does approval take?
It depends on how quickly each step is reviewed and whether any corrections are needed. If you haven’t heard back in 2–3 weeks, contact us on this website, send an email or use the Certemy support form if you believe you are experiencing a technical issue.
